Induction of labor with unmedical methods via membrane stripping

Objective: The aims of this study is to determine the efficacy membrane stripping for induction labor in women term and its role increasing rate vaginal delivery. Collection samples: Randomized clinical trial was conducted period one year (June 2020 –June 2021) at Tishreen University Hospital Lattakia-Syria. included 148 pregnant term, were divided into group (1) 98 who underwent stripping, (2) 50 without stripping. Results: mean age was26.5±5.5 years, significant differences between two groups regarding gestational age, obstetric history, status cervix. In group, spontaneous (81.63%), response higher with intermediate cervix (89.4%). delivery (85.7%), low requirement (5.1%). On other hand, (54%), ripe (77.3%). (58%), high (26%). Conclusion: Our findings suggest that represents a safe effective procedure reducing cesarean especially case
